We extend our love and respect to the Traditional Owners of the Country on which we walk, the Gumbaynggirr people of the Gumbaynggirr Nation, and we acknowledge that their land was never ceded. We recognise continuing connection to land, waters and culture and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Do you put those greasy cardboard takeaway boxes in the recycling bin? Think again!

Cardboard can only be put in the yellow bin if it is dry and clean.

BUT.. We can recycle in another way… It can be COMPOSTED!

As part of the Rethink Sch

When we put food waste in the red bin, it heads straight to landfill, where it decomposes without oxygen. This process produces methane, a greenhouse gas that is over 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide.

But..There is a better way!
