The largest river health citizen science water monitoring program in NSW and the largest citizen science macroinvertebrate monitoring program in Australia. Data assists scientists involved in the recovery of the critically endangered Bellinger River Snapping turtle (BRST) and helps inform catchment management decisions.

A community festival featuring young bands and singer-songwriters, the Budaabang Bari dancers, a free BBQ, creative workshops including ‘The Great Curtain Challenge’ and bringing people together to plant 420 trees along the beautiful Bellinger River, helping to protect one of the most pristine rivers in Australia.
